The little things

One of the memorable quiet moments of the movie The Crow for me was when Eric spoke of Shelly's appreciation of the little things in life and his post-mortem expression about how nothing is trivial. I couldn't agree more. One that really hit me at this early morning hour is staying up too late doing a tv show marathon with your S.O. I ended up doing that tonight/this morning alone and it struck me how much I missed sharing that experience with someone else. It's silly because both parties regret it the next day. However, you shared in the fun and regret together and that is what matters.
