231 Years ago today the spirit of liberty and order was alive and well in the hearts and minds of those that lived upon our continent at that time. Their spirit was the human spirit. With each generation, with each new life, it again becomes a new and fresh responsibility for each individual to rediscover that spirit. It's about the recognition and honoring of our humanity. I hope this day, and all days hereafter, you are filled with this spirit.
